Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- This is the rear-view version: mirror image, no parking lines
- Confirm resolution and standard: 1080P AHD, PAL (NTSC on request)
- Confirm the angle: 110°
- Confirm the connector (4-pin aviation) and cable length
- Confirm whether a sun visor or bracket is needed
- Say so if the truck is pressure washed daily - the housing is IP68 but the connector is the weak point
- Quantity, packaging (colour box / neutral box) and printing to be confirmed before production
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Check the supply is 12V DC and the polarity is correct before connecting
- The stainless housing is heavier than plastic - mount it on a solid panel
- Aim it along the vehicle body; the mirror image is for a rear-view monitor
- Keep the tempered glass clean - salt and dust dull the picture
- Do not aim a pressure washer at the connector
- Leave a drip loop in the cable
- Check the seal after any service that opens the housing
