Installation & usage

Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.

  • Check the supply voltage (DC 12V, +/-20%) and polarity before connecting power
  • Fix the main unit with 3M tape on a clean surface, away from heat and heavy vibration
  • The inside-view lens has IR LEDs - do not aim it at the windscreen, the IR reflects back and washes the picture out
  • Set and tighten both lens angles so they cannot move in service
  • Route the cable away from heat sources and sharp sheet metal, and secure it
  • Clean the lenses regularly and check the connector for water or corrosion
