Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- This model is an 8-way hard drive. Please confirm whether it needs a 2.5-inch hard drive/SSD and its capacity (maximum 2TB)
- The two working voltage documents are marked 8-36V and 9-32V respectively. Please confirm with the factory before placing an order
- SD card capacity: Write 256G for parameter in this directory, and 512G for factory English SPEC. Please confirm before placing an order
- Confirm the number of channels: 8 channels are standard configuration. Do you need to add IPC channels?
- Not equipped with remote control by default
- Confirm options: 4G, GPS/Beidou, WiFi, disaster recovery interface, UPS, ultrasonic oil sensor, 360 panoramic stitching, voice intercom
- Confirm the ministry standard agreement (JT/T808-2011/2019, JT/T1076, JT/T1078) and platform docking, and who provides the SIM card
- Confirm the number of cameras, cable length and connector type (8-way aviation connector + 1-way 6-core aviation connector)
- Confirm power source (ACC or permanent live) and whether delayed shutdown is required.
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- The power supply is 8-36V; a dedicated vehicle power cord must be used. The red wire is normally powered, the orange wire is ACC, and the black wire is grounded. The positive and negative poles cannot be reversed
- The hard disk model must be installed horizontally and fixedly, with an inclination angle of no more than 45 degrees, and vibration damping must be done, otherwise the life of the hard disk will be shortened
- The host must be installed in a waterproof, shockproof, and interference-proof location, away from the air outlet of the air conditioner
- The hard disk and SD card should be regularly checked for health status and video coverage, and important videos should be backed up in a timely manner
- Disconnect the power before inserting or removing the hard drive, SD card or SIM card.
- 8-way camera wiring harness and power cord are routed separately to avoid picture interference and snowflakes
- When powering on for the first time in a low-temperature environment, wait for the hard disk to heat up before checking the video
- The fuse of the fuse must be above 10A; the diameter of the extension cord should be no less than 1.5mm²
