- Confirm channel count: 4 channels standard, with a 6-channel version available (trigger priority V2 > V1 > V3 > V4 > V5 > V6).
- Confirm screen size: 7 inches (706Q) / 9 inches (906Q, this model) / 10.1 inches (1016Q)
- Confirm video input: AHD 720P / 960P / 1080P and CVBS, with mixed input supported.
- Confirm whether DVR recording is required, the SD card capacity (256GB maximum on a high-speed card) and whether the card ships with the unit.
- Confirm audio requirements: one audio channel standard, four channels optional.
- Confirm the trigger priority order (V2 > V1 > V3 > V4) suits how the customer works.
- Confirm voltage (DC 12–36V) and power source (ACC or permanent live). With cameras connected the supply must be above 13V.
- Confirm connector type (RCA or 4-pin aviation) and cable length.
- Confirm bracket and mounting method. U-bracket is standard; butterfly, fan, suction, swivel, flush-mount and headrest-frame options are available.

Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Before wiring, confirm the supply is within DC 12–36V and never reverse the polarity.
- With cameras connected the supply must be above 13V, or the cameras may be underpowered.
- It is recommended to use a high-speed SD card for recording, with a maximum size of 256G; regularly check whether the card is full or damaged
- Lock important recordings — locked files are not overwritten by loop recording.
- Connect the trigger wires to the reversing and indicator signals, then test each one after installation.
- Set the mirroring (horizontal and vertical) for each of the four channels to match how that camera is mounted.
- 12 split modes are set according to customer usage habits, and frequently used modes are set as the default screen
- Mount the monitor where it does not block the driver's view, and fix the bracket securely so vibration cannot loosen it.
- Secure the cable clear of hot surfaces and sharp edges, and tighten the connector.
- Clean the screen and sun hood with a soft cloth — never alcohol or anything abrasive.
