- You must check the definition (pin/wire sequence), as different OEMs have different definitions
- Confirm whether a waterproof boot is required.
- Confirm connector type (RJ45 / IPC waterproof head)
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Secure the cable while routing it, so it cannot be pulled or chafed through.
- Keep clear of the engine and other very hot surfaces.
- Once wired, fit the waterproof boot and tighten the plug.
- Do not bundle IPC cables with high-current power cables to avoid interfering with the screen
- Periodically check the plug pins for oxidation and water ingress.
