Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Model + year + host system (NTG3.0 or NTG3.5) must be confirmed by the customer
- Confirm the factory harness screen size and whether it has navigation
- Confirm the functions to be accessed: CarPlay / CarLife / HiCar screen projection, whether you need to add reversing image or 360 panorama at the same time
- Confirm whether the factory harness already has a reversing image (if so, no need to re-connect)
- Confirm whether extension cords, microphone cables and stands are needed
- Confirm whether the customer's market has vehicle inspection requirements.
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Always work with the power off, and protect the factory centre console and screen.
- Disassemble and assemble the central control panel according to the instruction manual, do not pry the buckle hard
- Check the wiring harness before powering on and confirm that it is correct before powering on
- Follow the instructions to complete mobile phone pairing for the first time; support factory microphone and factory button operation
- After installation, test whether the factory harness COMAND, reversing screen, steering wheel buttons, and audio are normal
- Keep the original parts so the vehicle can be restored and warranty work is straightforward.
