Mercedes-Benz 7-inch screen decoding module (NTG4.0 / 4.5 system)

- [Specialized for special cars] Before placing an order, you must confirm: model + year + plug type of the factory harness’s 7-inch screen (square head or round head). The square head corresponds to NTG4.0 system, and the round head corresponds to NTG4.5 and later. If the plug type is wrong, it will not be installed
- Decoding module specifically for Mercedes-Benz 7-inch screen, select according to screen plug form
- NTG4.0 system (HCJ-BZ221): 06-09 Class S, 09-11 Class E, 09-12 GLK, square plug
- NTG4.5/4.7 system (HCJ-8860): 10-14 A/B/C/E/GLA/GLS/ML, 13-16 GLK, round plug
- Display the reversing image/front view/360 panorama on the factory harness’s 7-inch screen without changing the screen
- Retain the factory harness system and all factory functions
- Losslessly transfer the factory harness LVDS and power wiring harness without breaking the wires
Ordering notes
Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Model + year + factory 7-inch screen plug type (square head/round head) must be confirmed by the customer
- Confirm the host system version (NTG4.0 / NTG4.5 / NTG4.7), and ask the customer to provide a photo of the back of the factory harness screen if necessary
- Confirm whether the factory harness screen has navigation and whether it is touch-sensitive
- Confirm the function to be accessed: reversing image / front view / 360 panorama / recorder switching
- Confirm whether a camera, extension cable and bracket are required.
- Confirm whether the customer's market has vehicle inspection requirements.
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Always work with the power off, and protect the factory centre console and screen.
- Disassemble and assemble the central control panel according to the instruction manual, do not pry the buckle hard
- Connect the factory head unit's LVDS plug to the decoder's LVDS-OUT, and plug the adapter harness back into the head unit.
- Check the DIP switches and harness before applying power.
- After installation, test whether the factory harness system, reversing screen, radar, and steering wheel buttons are normal
- Keep the original parts so the vehicle can be restored and warranty work is straightforward.
