JPC-256Ai-ALL smart AI thermal imaging camera (camera built-in algorithm / no host / AHD + RS485)
Key features
- The camera has a built-in AI algorithm and does not have an independent host: it can work just by connecting it to an AHD monitor, making installation the most trouble-free

- Confirm the resolution and lens combination (this is the core of selection)
- A2-1.5: 256×192, 1.5mm, FOV 120°×86°, super wide angle, close range viewing (mine trucks, forklifts, low-speed special-purpose vehicles, reversing)
- A2-4: 256×192, 4mm, FOV 45°×33°
- A2-10: 256×192, 10mm, FOV 18°×13°
- A3-9.1: 384×288, 9.1mm, FOV 29°×22°
- A6-4.6: 640×512, 4.6mm, FOV 95°×76°

- Confirm the video input type and resolution of the customer host: AHD 720P or 1080P, which must be consistent with the camera output
- Confirm the power supply voltage (DC9-24V) and wire harness length
- Confirm if RS485 output docking platform or body control is required
- Confirm whether you need an external speaker/sound and light alarm (the camera comes with an SPK interface and built-in speaker)
- Confirm whether you need to customize the identification frame style, distance mark, and startup LOGO
- Confirm the installation position: inside the center grid (front view); detection can also be done from the side, but cannot be detected when installed upside down
- Confirm whether you need an infrared remote control included with the product
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- The camera must be installed outside the car: heat radiation cannot penetrate the glass, and it cannot be photographed through the glass inside the car
- It cannot be detected when installed upside down. The supporting bracket is installed in the forward direction. It can be detected when installed on the side
- The lens/germanium window coating cannot be touched directly with fingers and can only be wiped with a special lens cloth or glasses cloth
- Do not point the camera at the sun, lasers, welding arcs or other intense light sources for long periods.
- The screen will freeze briefly (about 100~200ms) when the automatic shutter refreshes. It is almost invisible on the 384 / 640 models and is a normal phenomenon
- Thermal contrast falls as ambient temperature rises; this is normal.
- The identification frame, distance mark, etc. in the screen can be turned off through infrared remote control. It is recommended to set them according to customer preferences before delivering it to the end user
- Far infrared is affected by humidity and surface temperature difference, and the effect will be reduced in rainy and foggy days; but it has better penetration into smoke, dust and haze (solid particles)
- It can still work at -30°C, but the temperature difference between objects becomes smaller at low temperatures, and the target outline will not be so clear
- The camera and cable connectors should be waterproof. The center grid is easily washed away by water in rainy days
