Ordering notes
Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Confirm the specifications of the license plate frame (American frame) and whether the fixing holes match the model license plate area
- Confirm viewing angle: This data is 149°, if you need 170° or other angles, please specify in advance
- Confirm the signal type: CVBS, AHD 720P or AHD 1080P. An AHD camera must be paired with an AHD host.
- Confirm the chipset — CVBS: 1058 / 4089 / 7430 / 7440 / 7080; AHD: 2053 / 528 / 536D / 536 / 4109.
- Confirm whether the reversing scale line and forward/mirror image switching are needed
- Confirm the connector: RCA, 4-pin aviation or BMW type.
- Confirm voltage 12V or 24V; confirm wire length
- Confirm color, packaging (color box / neutral box / OEM) and instruction language
- Quantity, silk screen printing and LOGO are required to be stated in advance
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Before wiring, confirm the supply — DC 12V, or the 24V version on a 24V vehicle — and never reverse the red and black supply wires.
- When installing, fix the license plate frame first and then adjust the lens angle to avoid displacement caused by driving vibration
- Do not bump the IR lamp bead panel, and avoid squeezing the lamp panel during installation
- Route the cable clear of hot surfaces and sharp sheet-metal edges, and do not pull the tail cable tight.
- The joints should be waterproof so that the license plate position is easily washed away by water in rainy days
- Clean the lens and LED board with a soft cloth — never alcohol or anything abrasive.
- AHD cameras must be paired with an AHD host; CVBS and AHD cannot be mixed.
