Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Ask the customer for photos of the factory camera — front, back, plug, bracket and the OE label on the housing — and check them against ours one by one.
- Check that the OE number EEP73090003AB is completely consistent (including suffix)
- Confirm it is VF3 model and year; confirm camera position (rear view/other)
- It is recommended to use LEONI Dacar462/302 coaxial cable + FAKRA connector for the coaxial cable harness, or use a cable harness and connector with equivalent or higher performance
- Confirm whether wires are needed with the goods; confirm the quantity, packaging and silk screen printing
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Do not open the sealed camera assembly. User disassembly and assembly by yourself does not guarantee the warranty; do not turn on the power during installation
- It is recommended to install in a dust-free environment to avoid dust entering the lens
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before installation, and protect the buckle, waterproof ring and coaxial plug when disassembling the factory parts
- After installation, make sure the buckle is in place, the sealing ring is pressed tightly, and the coaxial connector is inserted all the way
- Power on and test whether the reversing screen and factory auxiliary functions are normal
- When washing, do not hold a pressure washer directly on the camera or connector.
- Keep the original disassembled vehicle parts to facilitate subsequent restoration
