Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Confirm size: 7 inches (718) or 10.1 inches (1018W)
- Confirm channel count: 1, 2 or 4 channels, all on the same platform.
- Confirm whether you need the video recording (DVR) version or whether you need the touch button version
- Confirm video input type: AHD 720P / 960P / 1080P and CVBS, with mixed input supported.
- Confirm voltage (12–36V) and power source (ACC or permanent live).
- Confirm connector type (RCA or 4-pin aviation) and cable length.
- Confirm the bracket form (U-shaped standard; universal ball arm/dashboard bracket optional)
- Confirm whether an IP69K test certificate needs to be provided with the goods
- Confirm whether a complete kit with a camera is required, and which camera model.
- Confirm quantity, packaging (colour box or neutral box) and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Before wiring, confirm the supply is within 12–36V and never reverse the polarity.
- Connect ACC to the ignition switch to avoid draining the battery.
- Connect the trigger wires to the reversing and indicator signals, then verify the automatic switching for each.
- Install and tighten the sunshade and bracket according to the car model to avoid loosening due to driving vibration (the body is heavy, so it must be fixed firmly)
- The wires should be fixed and routed, avoiding high-temperature parts and sharp sheet metal edges, and the connectors should be tightened (the threads of the 4-pin aviation connector should be tightened)
- Although IP69K is resistant to high-pressure washing, it is still recommended to avoid direct flushing of connectors and wire harness exits for long periods of time
- Clean the screen with a soft cloth, do not wipe it with alcohol or hard objects; wipe away any water stains after washing the car
