JPC-139-LVDS

JPC-139-LVDS truck/bus LVDS digital camera (LVDS digital output/18 lights/IP69K)

Key features

  • LVDS digital video output (Low Voltage Differential Signalling) - the digital interface used by factory-fitted monitors and OEM head units
  • Low-latency digital transmission: the image goes from camera to display in real time, with no analogue smear or ghosting on the screen
  • Strong anti-interference: the differential signal stays clean in a vehicle's noisy electrical environment (alternator, motors, LED lighting) - this is where LVDS beats CVBS / AHD
  • Long cable runs on ordinary shielded cable - the digital signal does not soften like analogue video over 10-30 m, so the camera can sit at the back of the trailer while the monitor stays in the cab
  • Plug and play with displays / MDVR that have an LVDS input - one cable, no converter box (the interface must match the monitor)
  • Built on the JPC-139 platform: 1080P high definition, 110 degree wide angle, 0.1 Lux low light
  • 18 pcs IR LEDs with auto IR-cut, night vision distance 10 m
  • Full metal housing, IP69K waterproof - stands up to high-pressure and steam cleaning on bus wash lines
  • Working temperature -20°C to +70°C; shock and vibration resistant for commercial vehicle use
  • Connector matched to the vehicle: 4-pin aviation / waterproof mini 4-pin / USB / custom ends on request
  • Dual-shielded cable available for extra protection against electromagnetic interference in complex vehicle electrics
  • For buses, coaches, trucks, trailers, school buses and fleet / MDVR systems

Ordering notes

Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.

  • There is no original datasheet on file for this model, so resolution, angle, voltage and IP rating are subject to factory confirmation. Request the datasheet before ordering.
  • Confirm the display interface: LVDS is a digital differential signal and must be equipped with a monitor/host with LVDS input. It cannot be connected to ordinary AHD/CVBS input
  • Confirm whether the LVDS interface definition (pins, channel number, line sequence) matches the display; it is best to provide the display model or interface diagram
  • Confirm the resolution and format: 1080P / PAL by default, 720P and NTSC are optional, and must match the monitor / MDVR
  • Confirm the connector type Fakra and the wire length (default is 0.5m tail wire, double shielded wire is recommended for long wires)
  • Default specifications: LVDS digital output / 1080P / PAL format / mirror image, without reversing auxiliary line (no park line)
  • Confirm whether you need shielded extension cords, waterproof covers and fixed brackets
  • Confirm quantity, packaging (colour box or neutral box) and printing requirements in advance.

Installation & usage

Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.

  • Before wiring, confirm the supply is DC 12V (operating range 8–15V) and never reverse the polarity.
  • LVDS is a differential pair. The wiring should be routed in pairs to avoid running in parallel with high-voltage lines/motor wiring harnesses. The connectors should be inserted into place and locked
  • Route and secure the cable away from the engine and other hot surfaces, and clear of sharp sheet-metal edges.
  • Tighten the connector and fit the waterproof boot to keep water out.
  • LVDS is a digital signal and cannot be mixed with ordinary AHD / CVBS. If you plug it in wrongly, there will be no image
  • Tighten the screws once the angle is set.
  • IP69K covers water jets and immersion; when washing, do not hold a pressure washer on the lens or connector.
