Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Ask the customer for photos of the factory camera — front, back, plug, bracket and the OE label on the housing — and check them against ours one by one.
- Check that the OE number EL3Z-19G490-D is completely consistent (note the -D suffix at the end, Mustang also has other suffixes such as EL3Z-19G490)
- Confirmed model is Mustang 2015-2020
- Confirm the camera position — reversing view, or which channel of the 360 system.
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal before installation and keep the circuit unpowered while working.
- When removing original parts, protect the clips, seals and plugs — do not force them.
- After fitting, check the clips are fully seated and the seal is compressed so water cannot seep in.
- Power up and check the reversing image and the factory guide lines work correctly.
- When washing, do not hold a pressure washer directly on the camera or connector.
- Keep the original parts you removed.
