Most camera system failures in service are not camera failures. They are connector failures, cable failures and bracket failures. Sourcing those parts from the same place as the cameras is how you avoid them.
The typical commercial vehicle camera installation runs a harness through the chassis, past hot exhaust components, across a hinge or coupling, and terminates in a connector exposed to road spray. Each of those is a place where a cheap part fails and takes an expensive camera offline.

Reverse alarms are regulated in many markets for sound level and, increasingly, for tonal character — broadband or white-noise alarms are preferred in residential areas because they are more directional and less intrusive than a pure tone. The YS-BL1 is a white-noise unit for exactly that reason. Check local requirements before specifying volume levels.

AHD video over quality coaxial or twisted-pair cable is reliable to around 30 metres, and further with an appropriate cable specification. Beyond that, use a twisted-pair balun set or move to an IP camera on the network platform. Buzzing or a washed-out image on a long run is usually a cable-quality problem rather than a camera problem.
