Ordering notes
Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Confirm whether the shell size, fixing method and opening size match the vehicle model
- Confirm color (black/silver/white)
- Confirm the signal type: CVBS, AHD 720P or AHD 1080P. An AHD camera must be paired with an AHD host.
- Confirm the chipset — CVBS: 1058 / 4089 / 7430 / 7440 / 7080; AHD: 2053 / 528 / 536D / 536 / 4109.
- Confirm lens angle. Around 108° horizontal is standard (110° nominal); 135° / 150° / 170° wide-angle versions are optional.
- Confirm whether LED illumination and a switch-panel tail cable are required.
- Confirm PAL or NTSC, whether parking guide lines are needed, and normal or mirrored image.
- Confirm connector: RCA / 4-pin aviation connector / BMW connector; confirm voltage 12V / 24V and wire length
- Confirm accessories (hole opener/screws) and packaging and silk screen requirements
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Before wiring, confirm the supply — DC 12V, or the 24V version on a 24V vehicle — and never reverse the red and black supply wires.
- Before opening the hole, confirm the hole diameter and sheet metal thickness; for the snap-in type, ensure that the sealing ring is tight and does not leak
- Tighten the screws once the angle is set, so vibration cannot shift the lens.
- Route the cable clear of hot surfaces and sharp sheet-metal edges, and do not pull the tail cable tight.
- Seal the connector properly; bumper positions take a lot of water spray.
- Clean the lens with a soft cloth — never alcohol or anything abrasive.
- AHD cameras must be paired with an AHD host; CVBS and AHD cannot be mixed.
