Ordering notes
Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Model + year + factory screen size + host system version (NTG4.5/4.7 / NTG5.0/5.1/5.2) must be confirmed by the customer
- The screen plug is divided into square head (NTG4.0) and round head (NTG4.5 and later), which must be selected according to the actual situation
- Confirm whether the factory harness screen is 7 inches or 8.4 inches, and whether it has navigation
- Confirm the function to be accessed: reversing image / front view / 360 panorama / recorder switching
- Confirm whether a camera, extension cable and bracket are required.
- Confirm whether the customer's market has vehicle inspection requirements.
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Always work with the power off, and protect the factory centre console and screen.
- New C-Class: First press the locking positions on both sides and then pry open the silver button panel of the armrest box. Unscrew the two screws and then lift up the central control panel as a whole; GLA: Pry the left and right air outlets, loosen the air-conditioning outlet screws (do not unscrew them) and then disassemble the main unit
- Unplug the blue LVDS plug of the factory harness host and plug it into the decoder LVDS-OUT, and plug the decoder LVDS-IN adapter cable back into the host
- Check the DIP switches and harness before applying power.
- After installation, test whether the factory harness COMAND/Audio 20, reversing, radar, and steering wheel buttons are normal
- Keep the original parts so the vehicle can be restored and warranty work is straightforward.
