Ordering notes
Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.
- Model + year + host system (must be NBT) must be confirmed by the customer
- Confirm the factory harness screen size (6.5 / 8.8 / 10.25 inches). Different sizes require different dialing codes
- Confirm which function it feeds: reversing view, front view, 360 panoramic, CarPlay or dashcam switching.
- Confirm whether a camera, extension cable and bracket are required.
- Confirm whether the customer's market has vehicle inspection requirements.
- Confirm quantity, packaging and printing requirements in advance.
Installation & usage
Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.
- Always work with the power off, and protect the factory centre console and screen.
- Connect the factory head unit's LVDS plug to the decoder's LVDS-OUT, and plug the adapter harness back into the head unit.
- The dialing code must be set according to the vehicle model table (6.5 inches, 8.8 / 10.25 inches are different), do not change it before installing the vehicle
- Check the DIP switches and harness before applying power.
- After installation, test whether the factory harness's iDrive, reversing screen, factory radar, and iDrive knob are normal
- Keep the original parts so the vehicle can be restored and warranty work is straightforward.
