Points to confirm before production so the unit arrives ready to fit.

Fix the cable length in advance.
The standard cable is male-to-female; specify in advance if you need another combination.
The pin-out must always be confirmed (1 B+ / 2 B− / 3 audio / 4 video). Definitions differ between vehicle manufacturers.
Confirm the number of channels (1ch / 2ch / 3ch / 4ch), corresponding to the number of cameras to be connected
Confirm connector type and pin count — 7-pin supports 720P only; 9-pin supports 720P and 1080P.

Voltage, wiring, sealing and maintenance guidance for the installer.

Secure the cable while routing it, so it cannot be pulled or chafed through.
Keep clear of the engine and other very hot surfaces.
Once wired, fit the waterproof boot and tighten the plug.
Do not leave the coiled cable at full stretch, and avoid sharp right-angle bends.
Periodically check the plug pins for oxidation and water ingress.
